Calcvert Terms and Conditions
Contents
1. Developer and contact details
Calcvert, hereinafter the “App”, is published by fuoco07109, a private developer established in Italy. For support or communications: fuoco07109@gmail.com.
2. Acceptance and age requirements
By installing or using the App, the user accepts these Terms and declares that they have read the Privacy Policy. The App is intended for users who are at least 16 years old. Users who do not accept these Terms must stop using the App and uninstall it.
Accepting the Terms or using the App does not constitute consent to optional statistics and diagnostics. This is a separate choice, which may be refused or withdrawn in Settings → Info without limiting the main features, as described in the Privacy Policy.
If the App is downloaded from Google Play, the relevant Google Play terms also apply to the relationship between the user and Google.
3. Features and free availability
Calcvert is provided free of charge and does not contain advertising, in-app purchases, or subscriptions. Available features include, by way of example, calculations, conversions, solving equations, inequalities and systems with educational methods and steps, graphing calculator tools, analysis tools, themes, history, projects, import, and export.
Any future introduction of advertising or paid features will require an update to the App and, where necessary, to these Terms and to the Privacy Policy before such features are activated.
4. Licence and permitted use
The user is granted a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable licence to use the App on compatible devices, in compliance with the law and with these Terms, for personal, educational, or professional purposes.
The user may not:
- use the App for unlawful activities or in violation of third-party rights;
- bypass or compromise the security, integrity, or availability of the App or related services;
- distribute modified versions while presenting them as official versions;
- remove intellectual property notices contained in the App;
- perform operations on the code beyond what is expressly permitted by applicable law.
5. Calculation results
Results are generated automatically and may contain errors due, for example, to incorrectly entered formulas, rounding, numerical approximations, technical limitations, or outdated external data. The user must verify the results before using them.
Calcvert is a support tool and does not provide medical, legal, financial, tax, engineering, or professional advice. It must not be used as the sole basis for critical decisions or decisions that may affect health, safety, assets, or rights.
6. External services and connection
Some features, such as exchange rate updates, require an Internet connection and depend on third-party services. Such data or services may be temporarily unavailable, delayed, incomplete, or not up to date. Where applicable, the App may show previously saved data and indicate the date of the last update.
7. User content, projects, and files
Expressions, history, preferences, and projects are normally stored on the device and may be included in Android backup if that feature is active. The user retains all rights to their own content and is responsible for its accuracy, lawfulness, and preservation.
Uninstalling the App, clearing data, an error, a device failure, or a change to backup settings may result in the loss of content. The user is encouraged to keep copies of important projects. Exported or shared files are managed in the locations and apps chosen by the user.
8. Updates and reviews
Calcvert may check for available updates and occasionally display the official Google Play review prompt. These features are managed by Google Play and may not be available in installations made outside the Store.
Updates may fix errors, improve security and compatibility, modify the interface, or add, change, or remove features. Although attention is paid to data compatibility, it is not possible to guarantee that every feature or format will remain unchanged forever.
9. Intellectual property and third-party components
The name, code, graphics, and original content of the App belong to their respective owners and are protected by applicable law. Any third-party libraries, services, or components remain subject to their respective licences and terms.
These Terms do not transfer any ownership rights in the App to the user and do not grant the developer ownership of content created by the user.
10. Availability, warranties, and liability
The App is provided “as is” and “as available”. Continuous, error-free operation or compatibility with every device, Android version, or external service is not guaranteed.
To the extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for indirect damages or losses arising from improper use of the App, exclusive reliance on results, incorrect data entered by the user, external services, or failure to keep copies of content.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded by law, nor does it affect the mandatory rights granted to consumers.
11. Changes and termination
The developer may modify, suspend, or discontinue features for technical, security, legal, or organisational reasons. Significant changes to these Terms will be made available with a new update date and, where necessary, communicated within the App.
12. Applicable law
Italian law applies, without prejudice to the mandatory rights granted to the consumer by the laws of the country in which they reside. For disputes with consumers, the competent court shall be determined according to the applicable law.
13. Final provisions
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or ineffective, the remaining provisions shall remain valid. Any failure to exercise a right shall not constitute a waiver of that right.
